The Gold Star Memorial Project and Freedom Plaza is a project that will be located directly outside of the new City Hall in Orem. This monument and plaza will be dedicated to honoring the Gold Star families in our community who sacrificed a loved one for our freedom.

 
The funding for this project is meant to be community-driven in an effort to give as many residents as possible a chance to show their gratitude to Gold Star Families through support. Orem’s American Legion Post 72 has already led the way with a generous donation of $4,000 to the City of Orem for the Gold Star Monument. A donor wall will list the names of generous donors to this monument and renderings of the wall are shown below.
