Recreation
Providing Orem residents opportunities to recreate through greater access to nature, better recreational resources, and sports programs.
We can accomplish our recreation goal by funding various projects and reputable nonprofits in our community, including those that address:
- Improving parks, trails, and recreational facilities.
- Developing more recreational programs.
- Creating adaptive and inclusive programs for residents with physical or developmental disabilities.
- Increasing ADA accessibility of facilities and parks.
- Providing events and activities to increase the health of Orem residents.
Current funding efforts will be chosen based on the immediate recreation needs of the community at any given time.
